DON DENTON
Don Denton served for twenty years as Vice President of Engineering for DESA International.  Following that career, Denton founded Worgas, Inc. as the USA subsidiary of the Italian burner manufacturer, Worgas Bruciatori, Srl.  In mid-2007 he left the corporate world to become a highly experienced consultant in the areas of codes and standards, technical communications, indoor air quality, and combustion.  Also, he now offers computer animations to show engineering and scientific principles.

Don’s technical expertise, effective communications skills, and results-oriented leadership have made him a driving force in many significant endeavors. They include being the number two planner and designer of the Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport, the world’s largest construction project at the time.  He holds two patents for his invention of polyurethane foam-insulated water heaters—the nation’s first significant high-efficiency appliances.

He is a 1971 graduate of the University of Tennessee with dual majors in aerospace and mechanical engineering.   He has also completed numerous graduate courses at several institutions.   Don and Susie, his wife of 36 years, live in Townsend, Tennessee, and have two married sons.
